This handbook aims to educate young people about different types of sexual violence and how their behaviour may affect others.
Our booklets are designed to provide young people with an introduction to understanding sexual violence and that impact that it may have. With a range of activities included, it is our hope to dismantle the culture of sexual violence, whilst encouraging young people to disclose instances of sexual violence to a trusted adult.
It considers the offences of sexual harassment, sexual assault, rape and indecent images of children (the phenomena of sending nudes). It also allows victims of sexual violence to identify which offences they have been subjected to. In addition, it explores problematic rape myths and contrasts these with the reality of rape and sexual violence.
